The family of a child who received severe harm after being thrown from the top floor of the art gallery have revealed their "little knight" has achieved his target of managing to jump, swim, and run anew.

The young youngster was aged six when he was hurled from a ledge by a teenager, then 17.

He, who was traveling with the family in August 2019 when attacked, endured a 100ft fall but received life-changing harm, including a brain hemorrhage and fractures.

Parents said in an update on a donation site, they were pleased that he had been able to improve with his swimming, running and jumping before his next surgery.

"He doesn't perform as youngsters his age, of course, but we are unable to portray what he does in another manner than by terming it's swimming, running, and jumping."

He, who spent months in intensive care, has persisted to gain mental stamina.

Relatives stated although his memory skills were still quite restricted, they were operational and improving, so he was "acquiring a basic understanding at his speed, which progressively enables him to be integrated with other children."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "He's also growing up, and thanks to his therapy with the movement specialist, he currently permits himself to relax."

"Before, to make up for his disability on the left side, he held his right part continuously stiff, which resulted in pain."

"Now, our pre-teen (we have to accept reality, he's not a little boy now) has comprehended that he has to take rests; we must alert him less."

Following a legal proceeding at the central criminal court, the teenager was sentenced of trying to kill and was incarcerated in 2020 for at least 15 years.
